Position Description:

CGI Federal, a wholly owned subsidiary of CGI, has an opening for a Business Analyst with a strong background in Pharmacy. This resource will be part of a fast-paced expanding division within CGI Federal BPS and will be a key player in the growth of a high-tech business intelligence product. Accordingly, the Business Analyst will be responsible for planning, organizing and completing on-site and off-site collection and review of client pharmacy benefit informational and data deliverables; making assessments of pharmacy benefit operations; providing translations, analyses and interpretations of benefit information to development staff. To that end, the Business Analyst will interface with client project contacts, client vendor contacts, partner firm contacts, and internal CGI resource personnel to obtain the deliverables. This individual may also be utilized as a resource in the design and testing of prescription benefit review/audit software products and support clients in the use of various applications. Qualifications for this challenging position include a combination of the following: five or more years of Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) operational experience within a PBM and/or Health Plan environment; well versed in the design and application of the pharmacy health benefit and pharmacy claims adjudication process; familiar with clinical drug database products; ability to work with pharmacy claims data, spreadsheet applications and reporting packages; clinical pharmacy experience; BS degree is required (BScPhm is a plus); SAS; MS Office.
