DRG Claims Auditors - (Remote) Pennsylvania

Position Description:

CGI Federal, a wholly owned subsidiary of CGI, has openings in Michigan for experienced DRG Claims Auditors. These positions will be based out of the Auditor's home office in Pennsylvania, but will report to the HQ office in Cleveland, OH for training purposes and meetings on an as-needed basis. Accordingly, the incumbents will be responsible for reviewing medical records to determine whether the documentation substantiates the coding of the claims submitted for reimbursement. In addition, the DRG Claims Auditors will record the results of reviews in CGI's proprietary customized auditing software (CAS) and refer claims to nurses and physicians for further review when necessary. To qualify for these challenging positions, individuals must have a combination of the following qualifications: ICD-9-CM/DRG/APG/HCC; CPT coding; RHIT or RHIA; CPC-H or CCS credentials are required; minimum of five years of inpatient/outpatient coding is preferred. This position might require up to 25% travel
