Position Details Job order - J1016-2763 - Permanent Full Time Title Unix Systems Administrator Category Software Development/ Engineering City Annapolis Junction, Maryland, United States Job Description Unix Systems Administrator Position Description CGI Federal is actively seeking a Unix Systems Administrator to provide support to a newly awarded program supporting the Defense Media Activity. This position requires expert knowledge of Solaris 10 and later, Red Hat, Linux and Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and later. This program is responsible for the direct line of communication for news and information to U.S. Forces worldwide. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies • Demonstrated skill in troubleshooting and resolution of difficult problems is required • Understanding of the DIACAP process, and the NIST Risk Management Framework, along with knowledge of the DISA ACAS is required • Provides Blackberry user and server support • Enforce ongoing DISA and JTG-GNO security policy on all servers and workstations • Troubleshoots and resolves server problems • Recommends system enhancements, tests, and implements approved solutions • Administer and support PKI\PKE, HBSS, ACAS, SCCM, CAC, and SAN environments • Performs network backups and manages tape library • Provides Active Directory and Exchange Server support to the sub-organization sites Additional Requirements • Knowledge of the operation and maintenance of UNIX Systems • Demonstrated knowledge of and ability with Microsoft Visio is highly desired • Advanced knowledge of Information Assurance requirements is required Certifications and Clearance Requirements IAT Level II Requirement Any of the following: Security+, SSCP, CCNA, GSEC Secret Security Clearance Your future duties and responsibilities Required qualifications to be successful in this role Build your career with us.
