Job Description Functional Analyst/Business Analyst

Position Description
CGI’s customer – an office within CBP – has the mission to support the enterprise in managing how data and operational information are consumed by senior leadership. The office is focused on producing processes, frameworks and reporting tools that are used to make meaningful decisions and ensuring CBP provides the most accurate information available. CGI’s opening for a Functional Analyst/ExecSec position is customer-facing, providing direct support across the CBP OCAO and front-office support.


Your future duties and responsibilities
- Registering, Tracking, Assigning, and Following up until completion all Taskers that enter the office.
- SharePoint maintenance/records management (administration, content, organization)
- Direct interface for internal and external office communications
- Creating media products
- Quality reviews on all documents leaving the Office to include reviewing and editing documents, PowerPoints, fact sheets and quad charts
- Preparing reports as directed
- Tracking metrics and implementing approaches as detailed in the performance plan



Required qualifications to be successful in this role
- Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree in business or related field and/or possess a MA/MS and 5 years of experience
- At least 3-10 years of experience as an Analyst supporting and performing on large and complex, data analysis, financial data management, auditing, statistical analysis, economics, data mining, strategic communications laden projects or programs in the private or public sectors.
- Experience providing management consulting support to senior-level government officials
- Prior experience researching, producing and analyzing executive-level government reports
- Excellent professional written and verbal communications.
