Job Description BPS Collections Supervisor

Position Description
The Collection Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day to day activities as they relate to Collection accounts in various stages of delinquency including coaching and development, report analysis, performance reviews, and other duties as assigned by senior management.


Your future duties and responsibilities
1. Support Collection staff by coaching and developing, monitoring phone calls, completing performance reviews, and leading by example

2. Taking and resolving escalated calls

3. Setting goals, standards and expectations for Collectors

4. Participating in Agency reviews and call calibrations

5. Analyze data and make recommendations for revised collections strategies

6. Interact and provide feedback across all levels of collection operation



Required qualifications to be successful in this role
1. At least 3-5 years management or supervisory experience preferably in a customer interaction environment

2. Ability to learn and understand FDCPA, FCRA, and other collection related legislation

3. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Internet, email4. Ability to motivate and manage customer contact representatives or collectors

5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills


Nonessential Skills Desired

1. Bilingual (English and Sanish)

2. Skip tracing

Education Requirements

1. High School Diploma, college preferred

Skillsets: 3-5 years Management or Collections experience
