Live Games Supervisor

SIGA is currently looking for creative, motivated, passionate, and energetic individuals to join our team.
Education Successful completion of Grade 12 or GED or a combination of relevant education, training and/or experience.
Experience Experience in the Gaming industry, preferably in the Live Games department would be an asset. Experience assisting with recruitment, training and coaching of staff while in a supervisor role.
Knowledge Knowledge of SIGA's guiding principles, structure, and First Nations culture. Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, with the ability to learn additional programs as required. Knowledge of the policies and regulations governing the operation of casino gaming departments. Knowledge of game protection methods. Knowledge of the rules of live table games dealt in SIGA's casinos.
Skills and Abilities Ability to use personal commitment and positive attitude to motivate and guide others to achieve goals. Ability to effectively supervise others to ensure accuracy and quality of work. Ability to exercise judgement regarding day-to-day priorities and situations.

Condition of Employment Must consent to a background check in order to qualify as a gaming employee Must obtain and maintain a gaming employee Certificate of Registration from the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA) Must be 19 year of age or older

Main Duties Reporting to the Live Games Manager, this position ensures that Casino guests have an exceptional entertainment experience by supervising Live Games department staff and activities. The position also has a strong emphasis on risk management and game protection, by monitoring game play for discrepancies or deviations from procedure. Responsibilities include: Monitoring Live Games operations, with scrupulous attention to ensuring fair and clean games. Communicating policies, procedures and standards to staff. Assisting department management with staffing and performance management. Carrying out a wide variety of administrative tasks as directed by the Live Games Manager. Creating, distributing and revising staff schedules to meet operational needs and control costs. Serving shifts as the Manager on Duty on a rotational schedule. Participating in other projects and activities as required, to ensure the Casino’s Live Games players have an exceptional entertainment experience.
