Job Description Casino Technical Supervisor

Education
Minimum 2 years education in Engineering Technology, Engineering Technician or Electronics Certification.
Combination of relevant education, training and/or experience may be considered.


Experience
Minimum 4 years' experience with MS Suites including Visio, Kronos (time & attendance), CRM ticketing systems, inventory control. Experience supervising employees and working with slot operations and diagnostics.

Knowledge
Knowledge of SIGA's guiding principles, structure, and First Nations culture.
Knowledge of the gaming, hospitality, customer service (or related) industry.
Knowledge of slot operations and diagnostics.


Skills and Abilities
Ability to troubleshoot and repair electronic equipment.
Ability to support change with optimism and openness.
Ability to communicate clearly and accurately, in both written and verbal form.
Ability to support and engage employees to provide exceptional customer service/hospitality.

Condition of Employment
Must consent to a background check in order to qualify as a gaming employee
Must obtain and maintain a gaming employee Certificate of Registration from the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA)
Must be 19 years of age or older

Main Duties
This position supervises the installation, removal, conversion, maintenance and/ or repair of casino technical gaming equipment maximizing up-time to provide guests with a positive and exciting entertainment experience. Reporting to the Casino Technical Manager, responsibilities include: Monitoring casino technical gaming activities and ensuring compliance with casino technical gaming regulations and procedures; Assisting department management with staffing and performance management; Carrying out a wide variety of administrative tasks as directed by the Casino Technical Manager; Creating, distributing and revising staff schedules to meet operational needs and control costs; Participating in other projects and activities as required.
