Job Description Casino Technical Administrator

Education
Successful completion of a four-year Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field.
Successful completion of a one year diploma or certificate in electronics from a recognized institution.


Experience
Minimum of four years’ directly related experience working with Slot operations and diagnostics.
Experience in analyzing Slot and Live Games operations.


Knowledge
Knowledge of SIGA's guiding principles, structure, and First Nations culture.
Knowledge of slot operations and diagnostics.
Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Visio with the ability to learn additional programs, as required.


Skills and Abilities
Ability to quickly and effectively troubleshoot problems, including but not limited to, Slot, VRT, Cage and Live Games equipment.
Ability to troubleshoot and repair electronic equipment.
Ability to gather, interpret, and prepare accurate information in a timely manner.
Ability to use communication skills under pressure, to promote mutual understanding of complex issues.
Ability to implement systems and processes that promote exceptional customer service.
Ability to analyse issues or problems, consider multiple factors, and develop creative solutions.
Ability to evaluate and facilitate progress toward unit or departmental goals, holding staff accountable for meeting commitments.
Ability to collaborate and consult effectively across work groups, business units, and organizations, to meet program and organizational goals.

Condition of Employment
Must consent to a background check in order to qualify as a gaming employee.
Must obtain and maintain a gaming employee Certificate of Registration from the Saskatchewan Liquor and Gaming Authority (SLGA).
Must be 19 year of age or older.

Main Duties
This position contributes to SIGA’s reputation for organizational excellence, by designing, leading and overseeing the development, implementation, communication and administration of SIGA’s gaming technical operation’s policies, practices and procedures to ensure competitiveness.

Responsibilities include: Troubleshooting, reporting, and communicating gaming software and hardware activity. Coordinating installation, moves and changes to casino gaming floors and gaming equipment. Participating in statistical analysis, development and evaluation of gaming programs. Participating in other projects and activities as required.
