The Retail Systems department has an opportunity for an innovative IT professional with a strong customer focus to join the team. Responsibilities include: providing production support of retail systems for stores and Service Centres, including system administration, resolving hardware/software failures, vulnerability and patch management. The successful candidate will also play a key role in Retail technology upgrades, including requirement definition, technology research and development, system integration, testing, and implementation. The role also includes developing automated approaches for system administration tasks and system implementation, and contributing to and maintaining system standards.

Qualifications:
•Solid systems development and support skills and knowledge;
•University or college degree with a technical major, such as computer science or engineering, or equivalent technical knowledge and experience;
•Systems Administration/Systems Engineering certification in Microsoft and/or Unix or equivalent technical knowledge
•5+ years of system administration experience;
•Solid understanding of hardware, software and network components;
•Proficient in scripting languages (VB, Perl, Shell Scripting, BAT) and programming languages (C#, .NET, VB, SQL);
•Solid understanding of the System Development Life Cycle;
•Knowledge of Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards;
•Willingness to work off-hours;
•Demonstrated organized and systematic approach to problem solving;
•Well developed logical, analytical, problem solving, organization and project management skills;
•Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, and a customer focused team player.
