The VINTAGES Events department is looking for an enthusiastic individual to coordinate, from start to finish, Vintages Events and special projects, that engage customers in a continuous world of discovery and provides product knowledge in a socially responsible manner. This includes all details related to the preparation and execution of each event – all promo and printed materials, products and accessories required, set up, closing and follow through of event activities and materials/products.

Qualifications:
•Extensive expertise in the development and implementation of special events acquired through a combination of previous experience in Project Management, Event Management and with a knowledge of the hospitality industry, a good source of suppliers, contacts and resources.
•Previous Project Management experience and the ability to handle marketing timelines and print production for all marketing materials– invitations, signage, in-store promotion, Website, Vmail, Release Ads, tasting booklets, signage, tickets, tasting mats, menus, order forms, tent cards, and name tags.
•Excellent organizational and multi-tasking capabilities including the ability to manage conflicting demands and priorities with a high level of attention to detail and meeting tight deadlines.
•Strong editing and proofreading skills required.
•Ability to respond to internal and external customers in a professional, tactful, and courteous manner with demonstrated ability to manage difficult and demanding customers. Excellent business verbal and written communications.
•Ability to work off-site in varying conditions, and the flexibility to work overtime hours, most often in the evenings and occasionally on weekends. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the province with occasional overnight stays.
•Physical ability to lift and carry heavy items (e.g. cases of bottles, industrial dishwasher racks, boxes of catalogues, etc), to adjust floor plan, move tables on-site and to stand for extended periods at events.
•Demonstrated experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access), Magstar and the Internet.
