The Traffic, Customs and Excise department requires an individual with Customs and Freight payment experience. The expectations of this temporary assignment position would be to provide comprehensive clerical support to the Logistics Traffic, Customs and Excise Department.

Hours available will depend on the operational requirements of the department. Hours are not guaranteed, but are scheduled in advance.


•Transportation / Traffic/Import knowledge and experience obtained through relevant education and/or work experience; sound working knowledge of world geography;
•Verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating initiative, tact and discretion and an effective telephone manner;
•Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Access and Outlook and excellent keyboarding skills; the ability to adapt and be flexible with varying and changing systems; experience operating various types of office equipment (fax machine; photocopier etc.)
•Sound working aptitude of mathematics and statistics; working knowledge of transportation systems and procedures; an ability to interpret various transportation regulations.
