Job Description Traffic Operations Clerk (12 month Fixed Term Assignment)

The Logistics Division is seeking a dynamic individual to support the operational efforts of the Traffic department. You will provide operational support by: verification and entry of data in order to create Import Traffic files using the LCBO Internal computer system; verification and confirmation of shipping documentation; reviewing, auditing and distribution of routing letters; routing of LCBO Purchase Orders; creation, auditing and distribution of Domestic Consolidation routing letters; creation of period end reports; providing of customer service to internal and external clients; other administrative tasks as required.

•Position requires a thorough understanding of Transportation and Traffic regulations obtained through the completion or active enrollment in a CITT, college program or related work experience in a Transportation or Traffic environment.
•Strong detail orientation, mathematical and analytical skills; effective organizational, records management and filing skills.
•Strong clerical experience using personal computers and software packages including Microsoft Access, Excel, Word and Outlook.
•Strong customer service and team orientation utilizing effective verbal communication skills, tact and diplomacy.
•Ability to multitask and work under minimum supervision. Must demonstrate a sound knowledge of world geography.
