Job Description Planogram Analyst ( 1 Year Contract)

Planogram Analyst, (1 Year Contract)
This position is responsible for developing, analyzing, supporting and implementing Category Planogram and store layout designs integrating a Total Store concept, inventory and space management programs, demographic data and SKU productivity analysis. Additional duties will include developing consumer-oriented product groups; creating, test marketing and producing category planograms; developing and overseeing in partnership with Sales and Marketing and the Retail Divisions, the creation and maintenance of retail space planograms and store layouts based on the concept of merchandising products with their consumer-oriented groups, seasonality and allocating space and shelf location based on sales volumes and profitability.

Demonstrated experience with retail merchandising concepts, marketing techniques, store layout concepts, shelf management principles and planogram structures acquired through retail experience. A strong orientation to detail and demonstrated superior analytical skills combined with intermediate knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. A post-secondary education in business, marketing and research and experience with Spaceman III software and MS Access would be a definite asset. Completion of Product Knowledge Courses and in- depth knowledge of LCBO products and product groups is beneficial. Position may require travel including use of car (valid driver’s license) and overnight stays, as well as the physical ability to install prototype programs in-store.
