Manager, Customer Research (Contract Up to 1 Year)
Reporting to the Director, Customer Insights & CRM, this position manages customer research, CRM and customer-level data mining projects to support LCBO objectives and plans.
Key accountabilities include promoting the use of customer information in LCBO decision-making, liaising with internal clients and external suppliers, leading senior customer research analysts, successfully recommending and implementing customer research, CRM and data mining initiatives, ensuring results are communicated appropriately, managing budgets and generating revenue through sales of insights and data to the trade

•Position requires strong project management skills as well as advanced analytical and market research skills and an understanding of data mining concepts usually acquired through the successful completion of a relevant post secondary degree/diploma and/or equivalent work experience, required to understand, express or apply concepts, methods and procedures relating to consumer research studies and to data mining and analysis.
•Superior ability to operate a microcomputer in a LAN environment utilizing statistical reporting packages, market research database software, spreadsheet, project management and word processing software.
•Advanced level of verbal and written communications skills necessary for the preparation and presentation of reports, and to liaise with all levels of contacts up to and including Executive Management.
•Strong organizational skills and proven ability to work effectively in a multi-project, team environment.
•Ability to negotiate with internal and external clients and service providers.
•Strong customer service orientation.
•Previous supervisory experience.
