We are currently seeking a Director, Business Development, Commercial Title Insurance Services, Calgary, Alberta who would like to join a company that has created a unique working atmosphere that offers challenge, purpose and the opportunity to grow both personally and professionally in a team-oriented environment.Reporting to the Regional Vice President, Prairies Region, in this outstanding opportunity, you will undertake the following:• Attain all revenue targets as assigned• Grow business in your commercial real estate segment, particular with REIT and Pension Fund customers• Grow and strengthen relationships, including partnerships within the commercial legal and lending community, and be the primary contact for key accounts to ensure programs are operated as designed and proactively seek opportunities to expand those relationships • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction to ensure we exceed in our customer satisfaction ratings • Maintain and utilize customer records and data for accessing opportunities and key information in CRM • Contribute to the overall growth of FCT by providing feedback regarding the market in which you participate• Manage your accounts using Best Practices • Use all sales tools provided to their maximum capacity • Manage your expenses within guidelines
• 8+ years experience in the real estate industry and mortgages. Legal and lending knowledge required with experience in large commercial real estate transactions• Experience with REIT/pensions required and energy and infrastructure preferred• Aggressive Business Development experience in B2B selling and relationship management with excellent real estate contacts with lawyers, lenders, developers and other business partners• A strong customer focus with the ability to prospect, create leads, grow the business and manage accounts while fostering close account relationships and generating new sales to achieve and exceed individual sales targets• Proven exceptional presentation skills• Strong initiative coupled with strong communication, time management and computer skills• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment• This position is stationed out of Calgary with primary responsibility of the Southern Alberta marketWe offer a competitive compensation & employee benefits plan as well as an RRSP program.
