Customer Service Representatives are usually assigned to work during our peak periods (evening and weekend shifts), or whenever extra help is required. You must be available for work during peak business periods (i.e. Christmas, tourist periods, etc.). Hours are not guaranteed, but are scheduled in advance by the store manager. However, on occasion, you may be called in to work on short notice.
Training is provided to expand your knowledge of LCBO products, customer service skills and social responsibility requirements.
Physical tasks include repetitive moving and lifting of bottles varying in weight, and lifting cases weighing up to 40 lbs/18 kg, and on occasion up to 60 lbs/27 kg; standing for extended periods of time and being able to reach, climb, bend, twist and walk.
Proficiency in English and French may be required for locations designated to provide bilingual services.
PART-TIME LOGISTICS RETAIL SERVICE CENTRE OPPORTUNITIES
The LCBO’s Logistics Division is responsible for operating and continuously improving, integrated product distribution and information system. Our logistics centres receive, store and deliver all beverage alcohol products and specialty items handled by the LCBO to LCBO Retail stores and Brewers Retail Inc. outlets throughout Ontario.
Throughout the year, part-time opportunities to work at the LCBO’s logistics centres may become available principally in areas of shipping, receiving and order assembly. For these roles we look for reliable and enthusiastic people who thrive in a busy process oriented environment.
Physical tasks include repetitive moving and lifting of bottles varying in weight, and lifting cases weighing up to 40 lbs/18 kg, and on occasion up to 60 lbs/27 kg; standing for extended periods of time and being able to reach, climb, bend, twist and walk. Ability to work various and/or rotational shifts may be required at some logistics centres. CSA approved safety footwear is required.
