Information Technology Services (ITS) is the primary information technology service provider for the Bank of Canada and, as such, facilitates the fulfillment of the Bank's mandate. ITS is a flexible, adaptive organization that aims to exceed client expectations for the provision of consistent, high-quality service. ITS partners with clients and suppliers to deliver automated business solutions and office tools, and establishes and sustains the IT infrastructure necessary to support these solutions and tools.
The Business Systems Analyst provides tactical/operational analytic support under the general direction of a project manager or senior analyst; serves as consultant to business units in planning and coordinating systems analysis, design, and implementation projects to automate processing or improve business systems; and collaborates with clients and colleagues to identify user requirements, perform business process analysis, assess process-improvement best practices, assess available technologies and recommend solution options.
