Qualifications:
-Diploma in Office Administration required

Skill, Ability and Experience:
-Three years recent experience in an Administrative Assistant role preferred
-Proficiency in executive office processes, including calendar and e-mail management, required
-Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, Visio, Project) as well as template and form development required
-Knowledge and application of meeting procedures and processes required
-Ability to set and balance priorities, plan, organize, execute duties, and meet multiple deadlines required
-Highly developed critical thinking skills, decision-making, conceptualization, and problem solving ability required
-Ability to condense complex discussion into accurate, legally binding motions/minutes of corporate meetings required
-Ability to maintain discretion and strict observance of confidentiality required
-Recent experience in patient and family relations, customer service and service recovery required
-Willingness to work flexible hours to meet demands of projects/processes/meetings required
-Recent experience in a hospital/healthcare environment preferred
-Experience in the use and development of data bases and capable of managing content within a web portal internet/intranet preferred
-Extensive working knowledge of hospital operations and structures, healthcare environment, governance processes, practices and structures preferred


Principle Duties:
-Reporting to Director of Emergency Programs & Performance & Transformation
-Provides administrative support to Directors portfolio: including clinical managers, PTS improvement specialist, and patient flow coordinators
-Responsible for managing the day-to-day office operations
-Assists in developing and achieving objectives and goals by coordinating activities with multiple partners
-Assists in development/presentation of projects and committee work
-Maintains confidential information
-Assists in preparation of agenda and transcribes and distributes agendas and notices of meetings, Record minutes and support activities of committees
-Completes details for attendance at seminars/conferences including registration, hotel and travel arrangements
-Is a liaison with patients and families, employees, physicians, volunteers, students, community partners.
-Supports Lean methodologies and processes
-Performs other related duties
