Position Summary

The Ticket Seller is responsible for selling tickets at to all events sold through the Grand Theatre Box Office.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for processing ticket orders in-person, by mail and electronically submitted;

Work at the box office and provide superior customer service at all times, including answering questions regarding shows and show times, and assisting with ticket inquiries;

Accountable for handling cash and reconciliation procedures;

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Competencies

High School (Grade 12) Diploma or equivalent education;

Three (3) months of experience working in a customer service environment, including cash handling;

Must demonstrate corporate competencies: Customer Focus, Results Orientation, Integrity, and Teamwork.

Skills, Abilities, Work Demands

Knowledge of events, activities, artists and subscription packages available at the Grand Theatre;

Ability to perform in a high-paced and demanding work environment;

Attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy;

Basic keyboarding skills;

Excellent customer service and communication skills;

Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings and weekends;

Must obtain and maintain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check (CPIC), at candidates’ expense.
