Your responsibilities

Support all Heating Retail commercial service requirements ( new tank equipment installations and repairs throughout Ontario);
Respond to customer inquiries and related service needs;
Complete new equipment service/installations and necessary repairs (commercial petroleum tanks, pumps and includes tank inspections);
Be the direct contact and follow-up with customers in order to meet their service needs;
Keep records in a rigorous manner;
Document completion & submission to Ottawa for central filing;
Monitor and control equipment inventory
Communicate immediate hazard situations to minimize risk and ensure full regulatory compliance in the field;
Perform plant orientations and enforce safe operating practices;
Provide technical support relative to scheduled projects – special maintenance and capital upgrades;
Complete preventative maintenance checks on plant equipment as scheduled;
Communicate operation challenges with direct report and field colleagues;
Complete documentation, submission and record required to verify industry and corporate guidelines are respected.

Our requirements

Diploma related to the position
8 to 10 years of experience as an Operations Technician in commercial heating (tank, heating oil, etc.)
TSSA certification , Petroleum Equipment Mechanic level 3
Class G driving licence (vehicle + trailers)
Flexibility on work schedule
Strong organizational skills and communications skills
