Responsible for managing all aspects of a Sales function to National Accounts in the Foodservice sector in an efficient and effective manner. The National Account Manager will be responsible for a select portfolio of Foodservice accounts, accountable for volume, profitability, contract administration and the overall relationship with the customer, across all levels of the organization. In addition, but not limited to would be leading distributor relations, execution of pricing strategies, development of new business and managing all aspects of select Foodservice accounts including the delivery of Saputo Food Service performance targets.
ƒá Protect and deliver balanced growth within your National Account portfolio¡¦ ƒá In conjunction with the senior sales management team develop annual operating plan and budgets;o Review weekly revenues and costs relative to budget;o Develop, implement and measure further action plans where necessary;ƒá Maximize product distribution, while creating product solutions in the National foodservice segment;ƒá Initiate and evaluate opportunities for continuous improvement;ƒá Maintain a high level of competitor knowledge in terms of products, pricing, discounts and sales levels;ƒá Actively manage the net margin expectations and develop the necessary plans and corrective action to meet the target profitability of the customer base;ƒá Disciplined approach to securing, administering and monitoring pricing strategy;ƒá Managing customer P&L, while ensuring accuracy of the data;ƒá Administer product rebates on set frequency, while confirming accuracy of the sales reporting.
ƒá A degree/diploma in Business Administration, Marketing or equivalent education and training;ƒá 2 ¡V 5 years National Account Management or Product Development experience, preferably in a packaged goods environment; ƒá Proven track record of excellence in achieving sales targets;ƒá Dependable and team oriented with a history of being able to work independently;ƒá Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills;ƒá Detailed orientated and accountable; ƒá High degree of P&L fluency, while be able to understand mix management;ƒá Able to work with tight deadlines in a multi-task, high priority environment;ƒá Proficient with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.OTHER REQUIREMENTS The candidate will show influence leadership, self-motivated drive and initiative.
