The Attendant, Production II is responsible for setting up the cheese making department in order to ensure efficient production throughout the day, manufacturing all cheese produced at Saputo Orangeville and maintaining regular sanitation duties.
Attend scheduled shift regularly and punctually ready to fulfil all duties required during shift Focus on customer satisfaction Comply with all Saputo Orangeville policies and procedures Comply with all Saputo Orangeville Health and Safety and Food Safety and Quality regulations Report immediately to Supervisor any/all food safety and quality issues identified Wear all required Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) Participate in daily mandatory stretching program Meet daily efficiencies stipulated by the Cheese Making Supervisor/Plant Manager Complete all processes which relate to chevrai (ex. pH testing, temperature, sampling, pumping & pressing, loading/unloading of curd foreign or domestic, bagging & carting of cheese, set-up) Packaging hard cheese produced (ex. Mozzarella/Cheddar sealing, boxing, labeling) Sanitation of all parts, equipment and department as per standard operating procedures Completion of all documents (HACCP forms, sign in/outs & offs, make sheets, frozen curd sheets etc.) Ensure all daily requirements are met Operation of C.I.P & C.O.P systems Ensure correct vat numbers are used in all products removed from department Report any problems with product to Lab/Lead hand/Supervisor (ex. Foreign materials in cheese, sanitation issues, health and safety issues, anything that could pose as physical/biological/chemical hazards to food safety) Fill and test chemicals (ex. chemical carts, sanitizing sinks, footbaths, replacing empty drums etc.). Sample collecting of cheeses as required Prepare feta brines Complete daily product line washes Thread bags for production Wash carts and skids before usage in department Adhere to good hand washing practices to ensure food safety Take on additional duties as required Take a sense of pride in work
