The Saputo Master Data Shared Services team (MDSS) is a key contributor to the success of the SAP implementation by establishing processes that ensure clean, relevant and complete master data on a timely basis. Master data drives all business processes across SAP and its quality will directly impact Saputo’s ability to consistently and effectively measure, report, and analyze its business performance. This position focuses on Financial Objects and Vendor Master Domain.As part of the MDSS team, the MDM Sr. Analyst is responsible for the timely completion of daily requests to Create, Update, Read, and Delete (CURD) master data records submitted by Saputo SAP users. The MDM Sr. Analyst works across business units and functions to complete CURD requests while driving adherence to governance standards and guidelines. This role has a heavy project focus and it is a critical role as it will support the successful implementation of SAP master data across the Saputo business. Activities related to implementation include business process design, testing, training, and post-go live user support.
• Complete implementation activities of SAP(MDG): design, testing, training, cutover, and post go-live support activities related to master data • Ensure master data is clean, relevant, and complete, as per the data governance standards• Review and complete change requests from Saputo SAP internal customers on a timely basis• Enforce data governance standards and guidelines during day-to-day maintenance • Understand and achieve key performance indicators (KPI’s) as well as service level agreements• Become an expert in the business processes and related SAP functionality supported by master data and interact with internal customers and MDSS to resolve issues, drive discipline, and ensure users’ needs are met
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, MIS or related field required• 3-5 years in an Finance, Technology, Business analysis or relevant role • Must be proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Power Point, Excel, Visio, MS Project • Knowledge of business processes preferred (experience includes Financial Accounting, Managerial Accounting, Accounts Payable, or relevant role)• Understanding of how data is used within business processes and its impact on desired business outcomes• Ability to structure issues in order to provide leadership with information that will drive the solution• Strong customer service orientation • Excellent attention to detail • Ability to work and communicate across functions• Ability to work on multiple tasks and prioritize.• Focused, disciplined, organized • Bilingual English/Spanish or English/French highly desired • SAP and/or MDG knowledge a plus• Travel 25% of the time
