Job Description:

OTN is seeking a multifaceted individual who will be responsible for leading the day to day delivery of the Platform program that comprises of multiple tracks of work such as UX/UI, Design, Procurement, Infrastructure, and multiple releases. The Digital Program Delivery Lead is will lead the delivery of end to end solutions of multiple technology projects of different complexities, duration, scales, and states of execution that support OTN's digital mandate. The incumbent will support the multi-year Strategic Roadmap of technology projects by collaborating with different business partners organizational-wide using Agile methodologies and tools.


Qualifications and Attributes:
- 10+ years of Program and Project Management experience
- Experience in planning technology roadmaps that is over a 2-3year period.
- MBA and/or PMP certification are assets
- Excellent knowledge of digital technologies and capabilities
- Established track record of organizing and leading cross-functional and multi-disciplinary teams (i.e. technology, user experience, and business consulting) through the successful planning and execution of complex programs and portfolios (mixture of large, medium, and small project of different priorities and scale)
- Experience with project gating methodology is an asset
- Experience with Agile methodologies and processes
- Experience managing Programs with solutions deployed in the Cloud
- Excellent collaboration, team building, and relationship management skills
- Understanding of the significance of IT infrastructure and/or Application change in a diverse environment with familiarity in technology strategy and architectural concepts
- Exceptional communication skills (verbal & written) complemented by extensive experience in presentation, negotiation, and persuasion skills
- Excellent organizational and stakeholder management skills
- An advocate for continuous improvement and operational excellence in all aspects of Experience Design, Delivery, Application Development, QA, and Support/Maintenance
- Proven track record of implementing & leading improvements in project life-cycle.
- Ability to identify projects at risk and take appropriate action to recover
- Ability may substitute for stipulated academic/experience requirements
- Required to undergo a criminal reference check.

Responsibilities and Activities:

- Maintain the overall project plans across multiple areas to ensure effective delivery within the budget while being accountable for the major projects are delivered
- Lead and oversee all components of the budget, resourcing, and timelines across User Story definition (Functional Requirements), Build, and Run states
- Management of multiple projects by keeping an optimal balance between delivery time, delivery cost, and quality assurance to maximize benefit yield
- Provide strategic recommendations on resource alignment/dedication and prioritization such as people resources, budget, and project criticality to the Program Leadership
- Lead the formulation of innovative ideas and solutions on processes and systems with PMO to continuously evolve the efficiency and execution of the program
- Track risks across all programs and develop mitigation plans - escalating to Program Leadership when necessary
- Report on the health of the Program by utilizing overall status, estimates, risks, financials, and any other necessary data/information
- Lead the coordination of all project objectives and activities while communicating the information to both colleagues and key stakeholders consistently and transparently
- Manage and facilitate group-wide communications that is consistent and transparent across different programs to ensure the overall project objectives are clear, and are visible to both colleagues and key stakeholders
- Manage the relationships with User Experience, Product, and Technology teams while driving them throughout the Program plan which comprises of planning (inclusive of functional requirements), Go-Live, and run states of multiple projects
- Anticipate business needs to influence the development of solutions by maneuvering through a matrixed set of relationships, influencing direction, and receiving input from various stakeholders
- Build partnerships and negotiate with numerous internal and external stakeholders across business and IT organizations
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the manager
- Perform work in accordance with the provisions of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations and all other corporate/departmental policies and procedures.
