JOB TYPE: 14-month contract with benefits

WORK MODEL: Hybrid work model - three (3) days in office and two (2) days working from home

ABOUT OUR CLIENT:
Our client discovers, develops, manufactures and commercializes vaccines, medicines, diagnostics and technologies that make a difference in over 100 countries.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Logistics Analyst serves as a liaison among Global Logistics, Global IT and the Canadian market. The Logistics Analyst will utilize their experience in systems and warehousing to support Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) compliance, Global Logistics KPIs, system enhancements and continuous improvement projects. They will leverage strong relationships and effective communication with third party logistics providers as well as with the Global and Canadian Logistics and Customer Service Team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and implement controls, best practices, and strategies to exceed Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) requirements.
• Work closely with internal and external auditors, business process owners, and control owners to ensure smooth SOX program execution.
• Prepare for and participate in external regulatory inspections and internal audits.
• Ensure that the warehouse complies with all SOX requirements.
• Ensure that all required regulatory reporting meets content and scheduling requirements. This includes timely submission of necessary documentation and reports related to SOX compliance.
• Support Logistics and Customer Service teams with system or process enhancements.
• Coordinate communication between the Logistics Service Providers and Global IT for systems’ enhancements, testing, business documents review and approval.
• Support the Logistics Lead relating to import/export documentation and customs release.
• Collect, review and publish Global Logistics KPIs.
• Develop and implement action plans to improve warehouse performance.
• Effectively address questions or concerns regarding performance and/or metrics.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Degree in supply chain, operations management or business.
• Experience in Pharmaceutical Logistics and Supply Chain Industries (3+ years)
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams) and capable of quickly adapting to other applications.
• Strong verbal, written, interpersonal and communication skills are required.
• Strong planning and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment, to be a valued partner with fellow colleagues, cross-functional teams, and internal stakeholders.
• Solid leadership skills with a strong desire to seize accountability.
• Bilingual (French and English). This role requires English as the Logistics Analyst works directly with internal and external parties across Canada and in Ireland.
