The Bank of Canada, with over 1,200 employees, is currently seeking a Client Service Representative to work in its Human Resources (HR) Centre. In this position, you will apply your knowledge of human resources and become proficient in the administration of our HR programs, policies and business processes.You will be dealing with managers and employees during the course of your daily activities, which include responding to telephone/email inquiries and processing all types of HR transactions related to an employee’s life cycle. •respond to requests from managers and employees, provide accurate HR information, while maintaining confidentiality and protecting the privacy of information•administer and process HR transactions associated with an employee’s life cycle, according to the Bank’s HR policies and HR Authorities Framework, using SAP and other web-based technology•work in a team environment and participate in our continuous-improvement activities•work in collaboration with HR Centre team members to ensure timely processing of transactions
•English and French essential•functional in second official language (training may be provided to help the selected candidate reach the required level of fully functional) •good knowledge of human resources acquired through education, training or experience•excellent analytical and technical skills•ability to be an excellent team player and to work in a fast-paced environment•excellent communication skills, both oral and written, in both official languages•experience working with technical applications such as SAP and PeopleSoft
•fully functional in second official language•college diploma•Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation
