Job Summary

Under the direction of the Assistant Director, Currency Awareness and Education Team (CAET), the Senior Analyst provides services for project planning, management, coordination and quality assurance for the team’s communications projects and initiatives. The Senior Analyst ensures that all projects are delivered in the required format, on time and according to requirements and Bank standards. As a senior member of the CAET, the Senior Analyst is responsible for engaging and mentoring junior staff, consulting with colleagues and gaining group collaboration on initiatives without formal reporting lines. This requires skills in information gathering, open communication and promoting a collaborative work environment.
The Senior Analyst develops production plans and schedules and works collaboratively with other groups in Currency, other internal groups (Translation, Editorial, Print Production) and external suppliers to deliver on the requested communications projects. The Analyst ensures the delivery of high-quality products.

Central Responsibilities:

• independently develop schedules, implement work plans, and engage colleagues and juniors in project deliverables
• identify new projects and make recommendations on improving quality and efficiency of business
• be responsible for the quality assurance and last review of all products and outputs from a design and editorial perspective
• manage client communications and expectations and provide sound advice and recommendations to ensure the timely and accurate completion of projects that meet the needs of the business and its partners
• participate in the strategic planning of the business line and make recommendations to senior management
• assist with the implementation of the production process according to established standards and workflows
• provide strategic, analytic and project-management support to the business line
• prepare various types of documentation, e.g., reports, briefing notes and presentations

Key Requirements:

• undergraduate degree in communications, marketing or another related field, with a minimum of two years of relevant work experience

in addition

• English and French essential
• linguistic requirement: functional in second official language (training may be provided to help the selected candidate reach the required level of fully functional)
• ability to direct the work of other team members who do not formally report to you
• at least one year of experience in project management
• ability to present various projects, topics, etc., to senior management
• independently driven with the ability to follow projects through with minimal supervision
• ability to maintain and build solid relationships with internal and external stakeholders and colleagues


• fully functional in second official language
• knowledge of the Currency department's function
