Position Overview:

Are you the person that people go to when life happens to them? Are you the person people lean on in time of crisis? If so, being a Client Service Representative in our National Contact Centre is the job for you!

We currently have several exciting contract opportunities - full-time and part-time, rotating shifts or fixed evening and/or week-end shifts, for individuals that have the unique ability to see the customer through the telephone. We are looking for individuals who have the ability to transcend technology and convey that they are there, in the same room; who talk to the customer and advise them like they would a loved one or a family member. They convey that emotion without ever having made eye contact.

What you will achieve in this role:

We pride ourselves in being there for people when they need us, 24/7!

Reporting to the Operations Leader, National Contact Centre, the Client Service Representative will:
• be the first point of contact for clients reporting Home & Auto claims
• use the claims entry system to report, assign, and update client information
• determine if Emergency Claims Assistance is required
• support client inquiries and redirect to appropriate departments as required
• refer clients to the Regional Claims Department for assigning an Adjuster

What you bring to this role:

You bring energy and enthusiasm to everything you do, you are a quick learner, you are empathetic and have excellent communication and organization skills. Experience in customer service or insurance is an asset but not required. Fluency in French or another second language is a definite asset.

If you want the opportunity to get your foot in the door in a successful St. John’s-based national company, or if you’re just looking to supplement your income, this could be the role for you!
