Position Description
CGI is seeking to hire a proven Digital Identity Lead for the implementation of a cutting edge POC for a User Centric digital ID solution.


Your future duties and responsibilities
● Provide internal and external leadership and the ability to promote a vision of “next generation digital identity” focused on expanding application security, privacy and data interoperability enabled by strong, trusted digital identities
● Develop and evolve program practices to keep pace with emerging technology, evolving open standards and communities of practice, cyber threats, and industry trends.
● Develop and maintain strong working relationships with other security functions, product delivery, project management, information technology, and enterprise architecture teams
● Identify and build out business use cases; collaborate on the development of innovative identity solutions as well as promoting program adoption
● Participate in security and technology strategic planning to ensure identified risk governance is incorporated into the client’s enterprise strategy.
● Educate and advise business and technical leaders on the development, delivery and management of identity and biometrics solutions
● Guide sales and marketing efforts on identity products with sound statistical and financial analysis; execute ad-hoc analyses to meet the fast-changing market demands
● Lead team responsible for day-to-day product management of Digital Identity solutions which includes product performance, global commercialization and client engagement
● Regularly review market and client landscape and recommend, develop and implement new and creative approaches to expanding product capabilities
● Assist with the development and execution of short-term, intermediate, and long-term strategic business development plans for CGI’s digital identity products
● Lead the onboarding of new strategic vendors and/or partners
● Establish and maintain strong communications with development teams, internal and external partners



Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration or related discipline from an accredited institution is required
● Deep understanding and foundation of Cybersecurity, Digital Identity, Identity Access Management (IAM), and Customer Identity Access Management (CIAM) practices, frameworks, solutions andi hands-on experience
● Deep understanding of emerging Digital Identity technologies, frameworks, and communities of practice (DIACC, W3C, IETF, SSI, VCs, UMA, OAuth/OIDC)
● Deep understanding of Federated Identity solutions and concepts
● Understanding of the Digital Identity environment relative to solution architectures, designs, topologies, applications, etc.
● Conversant in security and privacy regulations, compliance, and best practices (e.g.GDPR, Privacy by Design, HIPAA, pHIPAA, Federal and Provincial Government Privacy Policy/legislation)
● Deep understanding and experience with Privacy Impact Assessments and Threat Risk Assessment frameworks
● Demonstrated track record of developing product strategies based on business objectives and coordinating the successful implementation to deliver measurable business results
● Strong organizational skills with a successful track record of managing expectations, delivering results, and meeting milestones
● Excellent communication skills
● Ability to lead, influence and collaborate with remote team members
● Demonstrated experience in project planning and execution, change planning and management
● Entrepreneurial approach to rapidly testing new product concepts in the market and incorporating learnings"
