Position Description

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Provide subject matter expert advisory on credit card domain rewards capabilities (TSYS TS2, TLP, MRS) to technology and business team in client initiatives
• Leads large initiatives with multichannel, multiplatform, multivendor impact
• Technical advisory on retail payment and cards platforms, oversight of design/development activities
• Liaises with third party vendors, when appropriate, to ensure that the integration of third party products and existing applications and systems is practical and feasible given the underlining technologies
• Leads/participates in software development Process Action Teams and contributes to the continuous improvement of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes for the overall effectiveness of the development process
• Establish client relationship and identifying new business opportunities
• Grow team expertise to align with business/enterprise demand and direction



Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Possesses a university degree/college diploma
• 8+ years relevant experience in software delivery, service orchestration & integration, and proven experience in delivering complex technology projects
• Experience working in core card processor - TSYS platform and products, Technical know how on schemes (Mastercard, Visa) core processing
• Exhibits expert understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) (including emerging trends in DevOps and Agile), Quality Assurance requirements, and software development control and release procedures
• Experience in software integration using SOAP, REST web services
• Solution Design and/or Architectural background focusing on system integration, networking, security, orchestration, emerging technologies, etc.
• Experience working in a corporate environment navigating enterprise practices and process at financial institutions
• Experience leading projects/programs from both a technical and delivery standpoint
• Experience communicating effectively in oral and written form including executive communication, technical communication, and artifact creation/review.
