The IT Co-op role will participate in End User Computing and IT Operations tasks under the supervision of Senior Analysts, ensuring proper operation of all End User Computing technologies. This includes preparation of End User Computing hardware devices and peripherals, installing required software, participating in QA testing, interacting with end users, networking patching, and data backup and recovery administrative tasks.

As a member of this team, you will be responsible for:
Service Desk
• Field incoming requests to the Service Desk via telephone, e-mail, web and in person requests to ensure courteous, timely and effective resolution of end user issues
• Document all pertinent end user identification information, including name, department, contact information and nature of problem or issue
• Escalate incidents, when required, to the appropriately experienced analyst
• Assist in software and hardware releases and roll-outs and communication to the end users
• Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, imaging hardware and configuring systems and applications
• Setup audio visual equipment for scheduled meetings
• Participate in test plans where applicable

Operations
• Manage asset inventory process
• Perform network cable management
• Monitor production systems and initiate support tickets when required
• Manage and maintain desktop & laptops
• Participate in data backup process where applicable (i.e. Documentation & administrative functions)
