Scope:

This position mainly includes daily maintenance and operations of building HVAC mechanical systems, scheduled data entry into the preventative maintenance program and assisting in troubleshooting of mechanical and plumbing issues.

Responsibilities:

• Preventive maintenance and data entry into Angus Anywhere
• Routine maintenance and log entries
• Inspection and reporting
• Troubleshooting and repairs to building equipment
• Assisting junior staff with trouble shooting of HVAC problems and ensuring comfort of tenants is of the highest priority.
• Safety & HVAC Training
• Must be able to assess HVAC problems and effectively communicate to engineering staff, suppliers and contractors as to appropriate solutions.
• Continuous review of common areas, mechanical rooms and hazardous locations and isolating as well as reporting unsafe and unsightly items and/or areas and immediately communicating to supervisors.
• Continuous updating of HVAC information and innovations.
• Maintaining schedules for repairs & maintenance of HVAC equipment

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma and a Valid 4th Class Power Engineering certificate required
• Previous experience in Class “AA” office buildings preferred
• 1-2 years’ experience in basic hand tools and HVAC Equipment Maintenance
• Working knowledge of water treatment and testing required
• 2 years’ experience in maintenance & trouble shooting of issues related to HVAC water treatment preferred
• Basic Knowledge of TRANE SUMMIT TRACER Automation System preferred
• Must be available for 24/7 on call rotating shifts
