Scope:

Responsible of ensuring the centre is administered and maintained at an optimal level. This will be completed by working collaboratively with the Management Team, to consistently deliver a world class, retail and guest experience. On a daily basis, ensure the team is operating at maximum efficiency to allow Southcentre to achieve the best results and returns for Oxford over the short, medium and long term. Specifically, the Property Manager is responsible for taking a major leadership role in the smooth day to day operation of the Centre, inclusive of Retail and Office.

Responsibilities:

• Directly manage all Property Administration functions: Includes people management of 5 direct reports, A/R, A/P, Year End Reconciliations, Rent Letter preparation, and ensuring efficiencies are achieved through the remainder of the admin functions.
• Spearhead and complete accurate preparation of Monthly Reporting, Quarterly Reforecasts and Annual Budget, as well as any other required reports.
• Operations Management: Work in conjunction with all members of the management team & contract staff to ensure operational excellence and a world class experience is being delivered on a consistent basis. Conduct routine property inspections.
• Work closely with SL Manager to maximize revenue, and continually elevate the quality of the program, while enhancing the brand alignment of future sponsorship deals.
• Special Projects –Cineplex Digital Signage, CAPEX project management, Service Excellence, Development &Leasing collaboration, Extraordinary Everyday, etc.
• Direct management of day to day operations of Southcentre Executive Tower & Southcentre Professional Wing. Collaborate with Senior Leasing Manager on renewals and prospective deals.

Qualifications:

• University Degree (Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Business Administration or Bachelor of Management Degree). Business focus (Real Estate, Marketing, Finance, Operations Management, General RPA, CSM or other property management designation)
• 3-5 years of experience
• Proficiency in learning new technical applications.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Must have the ability to read and interpret financial statements
• Advanced customer service mind set
• Excellent communication skills

Additional requirements:

• Must have the ability to take a Leadership role within a dynamic and fast pace environment, without having a direct reporting relationship with the other managers.
• Must have excellent communication and people skills, as well as the aptitude to manage multiple projects and priorities at once.
• Analytical mind-set to collect, review and analyze market, financial and sales data.
