The Assistant Resident Manager is important to the successful operation of a residential building/complex. The Assistant Resident Manager must have a service-oriented approach, excellent communication skills and work flexible hours.


Customer Service:
- Professionally and courteously handle all inquiries, feedback, complaints or concerns. Ensure a high level of resident relations is maintained through regular contact and proactive attention to resident needs.
- Maintain an overall focus on enhancing the customer experience.
- Foster a strong customer service culture amongst all staff and promote a strong sense of community.

Management and Administration:
- Comply with regualr fire and life safety standards.
- Ensure a thorough knowledge and understanding of emergency procedures including fire, flood and mould remediation for all staff.
- Maintain all logs and safety checks.
- Maintain and update the resident directory.
- Complete incoming and outgoing suite inspections and documents as required.

Marketing and Leasing:
- Encourage appointments with all prospective resident callers or walk-ins.
- Inspect vacant suites daily to ensure rent readiness.
- Sell the property to prospective residents in order to obtain a commitment to rent.
- Complete all paperwork as required.

- A passion for excellence in customer service delivery.
- Ability to resolve resident situations in a timely and professional manner.
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills.
- Industry experience is an asset.
