The Legal Clerk assists the Legal Manager in the production of leases and ancillary documents for Oxford Properties' retail group. This position will also be responsible for administrative functions and maintenance of document archives.


- Initial drafting of leases and ancillary documents
- Prepare and finalize incidental contracts (e.g. storage area agreements) using standard forms
- Distribute executed documents in a timely manner to meet all deadlines
- Update document status tracking spreadsheet and liaise with tenants, brokers, and leasing teams across the western region


- Minimum high school diploma
- Candidates with a Legal Assistant diploma or Paralegal Certificate wil be given preference
- Minimum 2-5 years experience in the commercial real estate industry
- Preference will be given to candidates with prior experience drafting contracts
- Exceptional proficiency with MS Word and MS Outlook with working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Powerpoint
- Strong attention to detail
- Superior customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to track and manage multiple projects simultaneously demonstrating excellent organizational skills
- Strong problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong ability to work within tight timelines with great focus on accuracy
