Scope:

Analyst will be a member of the IT Process Support team that is responsible for implementing, supporting, maintaining and enforcing the Software Configuration Management processes. Team is also supports multiple systems and development projects throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC).

Responsibilities:

Assist the Software Configuration Analyst as required.
Maintain the safety and security of client information systems developed and/or maintained by OMERS, by using Software Configuration Management and installation release tracking tools.
Act as a resource to programmers and business analysts with respect to code library and release installation procedures and standards.
Provide administration of the source code management system, and any other systems used in SDLC.

Qualifications:

Demonstrated knowledge of UNIX and Windows based systems, development languages and tools (Powerbuilder, shell, Perl, VBA, Java, Oracle pl/sql)
Ability to understand application requirements (e.g . use cases, functional specifications) and designs (e.g. UML, flowchart, ER diagrams) and translate them into test cases and test scripts.
Knowledge of and experience in the Microsoft Office toolset, including Microsoft Project.
Understanding of and participation in a Application LifeCycle Management process
Programming or systems analysis experience an asset.
Excellent analytical, interpersonal, problem solving, multi-tasking and communication skills.
