Responsible for leading the Square One security team in the consistent delivery of a first class customer experience in a safe and secure environment. To provide effective leadership and to oversee the development and execution of a Security Plan within the Centre aimed at crime prevention, reduction and awareness. To be involved with the maintenance and coordination of all activities related to security hardware, such as CCTV, lock hardware, and alarm systems.
Personnel Manage third party security contract and staff Provide guidance and required training to all staff and direct reports. Participate and lead site specific customer service initiatives and training. Building Security and Loss Prevention Develop and execute Security Plan aimed at preventing and reducing criminal activity in the centre. Instill a heightened awareness and sensitivity to customer and tenant safety while adhering to relevant legislation and regulations. Budgets Prepare annual budgets with emphasis on cost control and enhancing the customer experience at the shopping centre. Tenant and Public Relations Maintain and build strong relationships with local law enforcement agencies. Investigate tenant complaints, thefts and any other concerns promptly and professionally. Provide guidance, recommendations and expertise to tenants with respect to loss prevention and other security issues. Ensure excellent communication between mall tenants and security.
- College Diploma/Degree in a related area of study- Security/Law Enforcement Designation- A minimum of 3 years related supervisory experience- Must be certified in First Aid and CPR- Industrial accreditations CPP, PSP, PCI, CFE, CISSP preferred- Proficient in MS Office
