The successful applicant will work in compliance with all relevant and applicable legislation and Hospital Policies and Procedures, will practice the Bluewater Health Standards of Performance Excellence and will fulfill their role within the Attendance Support Program parameters. The successful applicant will also possess effective communication and interpersonal skills, will have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and will have strong attention to detail and accuracy. -Current registration with CMRITO-Will hold liability insurance as defined by CMRITO-Current IV Certification preferred-Completion of a recognized CT course required
Recent related experience in various CT examinations including CT angiography and interventional procedures, or commitment to achieve required-Demonstrated proficiency in IVs and/or completion of a recognized IV certification course, or commitment to achieve preferred-Ability to work independently, apply critical thinking, problem solving, decision making, conflict resolution and prioritization skills required-Basic proficiency in the use of computers required -Ability to meet the physical demands of the position required-Experience in CT required -Experience with electronic Health Information Systems preferred
Safely operates equipment to produce optimum images in accordance with CMRITO Standards of Practice at all Bluewater Health sites-Ensures quality images are obtained and transmitted to PACS for distribution as required-Participates in unit/department and Hospital Quality Improvement initiatives-Completes continuing education requirements as necessary-Other related duties as assigned
