CIMCO is currently looking for an entry-level Warehouse Supervisor to oversee our inventory of raw materials and equipment. You will manage a small dedicated team of cross-functional Shippers and Receivers.The successful candidate will have at least 8-10 years of experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, and have the ability to work in all warehouse roles – shipping, receiving, material picking, and return material. The ability to oversee all of these roles is crucial, so having experience is requirement. A minimum of 1 year experience is required in managing a group of warehouse employees. The successful candidate will also act as a Logistics Assistant. Current location for this position is Toronto. However, the facility will be moving to Burlington by June 2022. Hours are Monday thru Friday from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
• Ensure smooth and efficient daily operation in the warehouse. • Solve problems as they arise with orders, inventory, receiving, etc.• Oversee the operations to ensure all work is performed to a high level of competence.• Inspection and verification of incoming materials and stocking in correct locations.• Picking outgoing shipments, packaging, weighing, and completing computerized waybills, bills of lading.• Maintain KanBan• Maintain stock levels.• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.• Assist with logistics for shipments arriving and departing from our facility.• Provide training and assistance to all direct reports.
• Minimum 8 years experience as a shipper/receiver or similar position.• Minimum 1 year experience in managing/acting as a team lead within a warehouse.• Logistics experience would be an asset.• Good attention to details.• Motivated & a self-starter.• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.• Ability to work well with others.• Good written and verbal communication abilities in English.• Computer literate, with a good working knowledge of Microsoft software such as Word, Outlook and Excel.• Familiar with SAP business software.• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.• Certified fork truck driver.• Ontario Secondary School Diploma (High School) or equivalent.• Mechanical aptitude would be an asset.• Transportation of Dangerous Goods training would be an asset.
