The Service Manager, reporting directly to the Regional Manager and will be responsible for the management of the Mid Atlantic Service team.
• Ensuring customer’s equipment operates efficiently with no unplanned down-time. • Maximizing Field Service margins and growth opportunities • Ensuring effective use of field service technician time through planned & unplanned service work (controlling unbilled hours) • Supervision of field service technicians, providing clear work direction • Ensuring H&S policies and practices are strictly enforced and TRIF metric is achieved • Service Fleet & Inventory management • Manage Service technician equipment & resources within budget guidelines • Supervision of service dispatching and coordination • Provide qualified mechanics for commissioning of project startups with project managers • Take “4DX” training and be engaged with weekly conference calls with other Ontario Service Managers. • Field service technical support • Management of CSA’s • Service warranty issue resolution • Oil recovery management • Recruitment of service mechanics
• C of Q as a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Systems Mechanic 313A • At least 5 years of field service experience working with ammonia systems • Grade 12 or equivalent along with post-secondary education. • Ability to multi-task in fast paced office and field environment. • Ability to respond to emergency calls after normal business hours
