CIMCO is looking for Pressure Piping welders and fitter-welders for our new facility in Duncan, SC.

Role Responsibilities

• Reading and interpreting spool drawings and blueprints
• Ensure all welding is conducted in accordance with CIMCO’s welding procedures
• Verify all welds are cleaned, stenciled, clear coated and visually inspected daily
• Transfer the heat numbers onto spool drawings, mark complete and submitted
• Support superintendent in verifying current project documentation (drawings, revised specifications, RFI responses, change orders, revised submittals and cut-sheets) are followed.
• Help deliver quality as-built red lined drawings upon project completion
• Assist in organizing all hard copies of MTRs onsite when material is delivered
• Support material takeoffs and identify any consumable or equipment needs
• Receive, inventory and document all equipment and material deliveries

Required Professional Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Vocational School or Equivalence preferred
• Experience: 3 - 5 years’ experience as an industrial pipe fitter preferred
• Strong English communication skills (verbal and in writing) required
• Must be able to work with others and collaborate
• Work full 40 hour shift and overtime up to 60 hours as needed
• Able to work on holidays if required
• The ability to obtain OSHA 10 & 30 training certifications after hiring required
