CIMCO is seeking experienced Pipe Welders and Pipe Fitters to support our customers' construction projects.

Role Responsibilities

• Assist Superintendent prepare and coordinate all site material and consumable deliveries, ensuring all required items are onsite and inventoried
• Receive, inventory and document all equipment and material deliveries, notifying the Superintendent when deliveries are not in compliance with purchase orders, equipment schedules or project specifications
• Ensure all work is executed with an emphasis on quality
• Verify all welds are cleaned, stenciled, clear coated and visually inspected daily and report back to Superintendent
• Generate detailed welds maps for all installed piping and submit to Superintendent
• Report any issues with disciplinary rig welders as needed to the Superintendent
• Ensure field teams have the tools, consumables and equipment needed to safely and successfully complete the task on hand
• Work Superintendent to verify current project documentation (drawings, revised specifications, RFI responses, change orders, revised submittals and cut-sheets) are followed.
• Help Superintendent deliver quality as-built red lined drawings upon project completion
• Assist Superintendent with the development of equipment pick plans and site safety requirements when crane work is required
• Maintain a clean, safe and orderly jobsite at all times

Required Professional Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings, specifications, manuals and processes.
• Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration and adaptability are important.
• Ability to problem solve, make decisions, plan and organize jobs and tasks.
• Excellent interpersonal skills including oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with an exceptional eye for detail.
