Reporting to the Director of Facilities Services, the incumbent will be responsible for the routine maintenance of, and repairs to broken or faulty hospital equipment, ensuring the safety of patients and staff.
• Certified Heating, A/C, Ventilation and Refrigeration Mechanic• Good interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently• Able to participate in on-call rotation • Good computer skills• Ability to read and understand blueprints, engineering drawings and technical manuals• Ability to use power operated tools including drill press, saws and press• Knowledge of building automation system and electromechanical equipment• Good work and attendance record• Valid driver's license and access to own transportation• Advanced level in English (oral and written)Preferred:• Advanced level in French (oral)
