The Screener contributes to the safety of patients, visitors and staff by ensuring compliance with infection control practices and policies at the two hospital entrances. Duties include: greeting and screening for symptoms upon entry, ensuring hand hygiene and mask requirements are met, directing and organizing waiting patients, answering questions and assisting patients and visitors.
• Must be able to work a mix of 12-hour and 8-hour shifts, including some weekend and night shifts• Must be able to wear a mask and protective eyewear throughout the shift, (desk is also behind a plexiglass shield).• Excellent customer service/public relations skills• Positive Attitude• Demonstrated work history of reliability and punctuality• Bilingualism is an asset
