The personal information collected is required for the purpose of determining suitability for employment within the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission in accordance with section 16(1) of the Nuclear Safety and Control Act. The collection of the information is voluntary and is protected by the provisions of the Privacy Act. If the noted information is not provided, applicants will not be able to use the on-line application system to apply for a job opportunity at the CNSC The information is held by CGI Payroll Services Centre Inc, a corporation which is bound by a contract with the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission to treat any personal information they received from job applicants, including employment equity information, as protected information. The information will only be used to administer the employment relationship if established. The information collected and used is protected under the Privacy Act and you may obtain access, request correction or make additions to your information.
