Position Description
CGI is offering an exciting opportunity as a Business Systems Analyst with focus in CRM solution. As a member of CGI’s national practice providing retail banking solutions and services to credit unions, you will be joining an experienced and dynamic team of global IT professionals serving our clients across Canada and the world.
As the Business Systems Analyst, you will be part of an agile team that is developing Customer Relationship Management and Delinquency Management Solutions. Your knowledge of enterprise/commercial CRM solution(s), as well as your agile delivery experience will be leveraged to assist with development of the product roadmap and enhancement of feature set.

Your future duties and responsibilities
• Work closely with stakeholders (business stakeholders, senior team members and other SMEs, product or project team, and focus groups) to understand and capture business needs, define, analyze and evaluate requirements and business processes.
• Work with the product owner in defining requirements, developing user stories and capturing acceptance criteria.
• Create documentation such as but not limited to business requirements document, business process maps, user stories, and business cases.
• Participate in roadmap initiatives and projects, with a focus on digital transformation and promoting alignment across teams.
• Facilitation of user groups and one on one sessions.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions, outlining functional and non-functional specifications.
• Work with solution designers and developers and contribute to the development of project plans by participating in the scoping and estimating of proposed work.
• Create acceptance criteria, test steps and perform QA to ensure product, performance, user acceptance and operational acceptance testing.
• Problem solving leading to root cause(s) discovery and proposing solutions.
• Provide tier-2 support for any issues/questions reported by the client and/or end users.
• Prioritize and manage own workload in order to deliver quality results and meet timelines.
• Support a positive work environment that promote service to business, quality, innovation and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues/ points of interest.
• 100% adherence to CGI policies (Member Commitment to the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, Dress Code, Travel, Expenses, etc.)



Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Must Have Requirements:
• Strong Business Analysis experience in a client facing role.
• Demonstrated knowledge of digital services, CRM technologies and concepts.
• Experience performing quality assurance activities.
• Ability to write SQL queries to perform data comparison and data validation.

Nice to Have Requirements:
• Knowledge and experience working specifically in the retail banking and/or credit union space.
• Experience working on Digital transformation projects.
• Demonstrated knowledge of agile development principles and bi-modal delivery models.
• Bonus points: Experience working with CRM solutions (Salesforce, MS Dynamics), Marketing Automation tools and/or implementing CRM solutions for Sales/Marketing teams.

Soft Skills:
• Ability to think out of box and bring forward ideas for new product features that will support the product vision.
• Self-motivated with attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills with the ability to balance immediate and longer-term tasks and requirements.
• Excellent presentation skills, ability to cater messages depending on the audience.
• Strong sense of ownership and ability to drive tasks through to completion.
• Ability to build consensus and resolve interpersonal challenges.
• Ability to balance multiple deliverables and manage time effectively.
• Ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members.

Required Level of Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in a Computer Science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience.
