This will be a new product, based on the acquisition of a client solution. This is a unique opportunity for a Java Fullstack Developer to drive the development of a SaaS product and taking the new offering to market. This team is driven by collective success. Your future duties and responsibilities • Responsible for developing and managing the development of financial planning applications in collaboration with development teams (client + CGI) • Provide technical problem solving / technical analysis skills to the team • Maintain and enhance existing software to address strategic business development needs to improve the software and to complete backlog of development • Proficient in managing the development of multi-tier, secure business applications for high availability, scalability and performance • Ability to rapidly develop expertise in emerging technologies through hands on, real-time - on the fly exposure and involvement Required qualifications to be successful in this role • Excellent technical problem-solving abilities with successfully implemented solutions • Understanding of object-oriented analysis, design and development • Proven ability to write high quality technical documentation (in English) • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience as a Software Developer in an Agile environment (exposure to front-end and back-end frameworks) leveraging modern languages and tools such as Java, React, and/or Angular • Exposure to Databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, SQLServer, and/or MySQL • Containers and container platforms such as OpenShift • Nice to have: Application deployment automation using Jenkins, Terraform, GitHub Actions, and/or Azure DevOps • Experience with RESTFul API development, management and integration • Superb communication skills, both oral and written • Deep experience in AGILE development, SCRUM or SAFe and Application Lifecycle Management (ALM)) • Excellent understanding of key concepts of architecture in a distributed environment (SOA, etc.) • Experience with development life cycle including:  Source control (GIT, CVS, Subversion, etc.)  Build scripts (Ant, Maven, etc.)  Development of unit tests (JUnit, TDD, etc.)  CI/CD pipeline (Jenkins/Bamboo etc.) • Knowledge or experience with Financial Services/Financial planning software development a plus • Experience with Google Cloud, AWS is a plus Insights you can act on While technology is at the heart of our clients’ digital transformation, we understand that people are at the heart of business success.
