Job Description Financial Processing Administrator

Position Description
We are currently seeking a Financial Processing Administrator to join our Operations team. Working closely with our client, Financial Processing Administrators work specifically on the Assante Private Portfolios (APP) product. APP is a high advice, highly managed product with active asset mix maintenance. The Administration team is responsible for accurately administering a wide variety of transactional activities on-behalf of our clients.


Your future duties and responsibilities
• Review all client requests for completeness and accuracy
• Process non-financial and financial updates on client accounts via our in-house workflow system and industry-wide platforms (ex. Fundserv)
• Assist with automation efforts to streamline operations
• Ensure high accuracy through quality control efforts
• Engage in a team atmosphere through remote technology (ex. Microsoft Teams)
• Undergo ongoing training to ensure knowledge is up-to-date and relevant

Required qualifications to be successful in this role
• Financial Services Industry experience an asset
• Post-secondary degree
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• Commitment to continual learning
• Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal
• Mutual Fund knowledge would be an asset
• IFIC or Canadian Securities Course would be an asset
