Position Description:

CGI is seeking a highly skilled and motivated AI/ML Solution Architect to join our team. As an AI/ML Solution Architect, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, design and lead end-to-end AI and machine learning solutions that leverage cloud data architectures. You will be responsible for translating business needs to AI/ML Solutions and Architectures as well as understanding team/resourcing/timeline, leading teams, conducting assessments, defining roadmaps, and providing technical leadership across multiple accounts.
U.S. based candidates will be considered with a preference for Austin, Dallas and Houston, TX residents. CGI utilizes a hybrid model and members should be prepared to work in the local CGI office or client site, as needed.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

• Lead teams of 2-10+ technical resources
• Manage facilitated working sessions with technical executives and experts
• Conduct hands-on development, configuration, or system setup for early stage POCs/POVs
• Present technology architecture and solution overviews to executive-level audiences
• Create presentation materials to simplify complex ideas into digestible topics
• Provide leadership across multiple accounts and support sales and business development activities
• Apply technical aptitude and design patterns across multiple industry verticals and use cases
• Conduct assessments and define enterprise roadmaps for enabling AI
• Participate in hiring resources and coach and mentor junior staff
• Drive early-stage AI business development, RFP responses, and incremental work for both commercial and public sector clients
• Effectively deal with ambiguity and draw out key requirements and constraints
• Design and lead AI solution delivery and related technologies
• Provide thought leadership around modern AI tools and platforms
• Understand approaches and challenges around AI for organizations at varying maturities
• Evangelize AI within CGI by creating upskilling programs, thought leadership pieces, and participating in knowledge sharing across COEs

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Personal Characteristics:
• Experience in translating business needs to AI/ML Solutions and Architectures as well as understanding team/resourcing/timeline etc.

• Willingness to travel to client locations
• leading large teams 15+ people, scoping work/resources.Team player with the ability to mentor and upskill junior resources
• Ability to explain technical problems or concepts to non-technical users
Technical Skills:
• Exposure to data ingestion, wrangling, and ETL tools (SQL, PySpark, Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, etc.)
• Experience with cloud data warehouses (Snowflake, AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Azure Data Warehouse, Databricks Lakehouse, etc.)
• Expertise across modern cloud AI platforms (Databricks, Snowflake, AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, GCP Vertex AI, Dataiku, etc.)
• Deep knowledge of Data Science and related technologies (Python, R, scikit-learn, Tensorflow, PyTorch, etc.)
• Deep knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI (Gen AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Applied Statistics
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI
• Familiarity with version control system like Git, DevOps, etc.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology Management, or equivalent
Desired Qualifications:
• Ability to provide vision and high-level strategies for clients
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously

determination of this range includes various factors not limited to: skill set level; experience and training; and licensure and
certifications. CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are
dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $106,300 - $235,400.
